American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification for a 12-week assignment at an acute care hospital in North Carolina.
Details\n- \n
- Works in a hospital MRI department serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and ER/trauma patient populations \n
- Imaging studies include brain, cranial nerves, head/neck MRA/MRV, orbits, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx), chest, abdomen and pelvis, and full musculoskeletal range including shoulder, knee, hip, hand, foot, and extremities \n
- Special imaging procedures include Gradient Echo, Spin Echo, T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, MIP, multiplanar reconstruction, image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction), and surface coils \n
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens MRI systems and PACS \n
- Epic EMR experience preferred; McKesson experience is a plus \n
- Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 4x10-hour evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM \n

- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience \n
- ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) required; BLS required \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Proficiency with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal MRI studies \n
- Experience with GE and/or Siemens MRI equipment and PACS \n
- Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast \n
- First-time travelers will be considered \n
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n

- Perform a broad range of MRI exams across adult and pediatric populations in acute care, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings \n
- Pre-assignment online modules (~5 hours) must be completed prior to start; modules are self-reported \n
- This facility conducts its own pre-employment drug screening upon arrival, in addition to standard credentialing requirements \n
- Candidates who reside in Moore County, NC are not eligible for this travel position \n
- Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered for contract positions \n
