Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Patient ratio of 8:1 in an outpatient oncology setting with a daily census of approximately 60 patients.

Highlights:\n

• Outpatient chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration in a specialized oncology setting
\n
• Work with diverse patient diagnoses including all cancer types and hematology conditions (malignant and non-malignant)
\n
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including social services and pharmacy support
\n
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
\n
• 91-day assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
\n
• 8-hour orientation provided
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n
• Travel nursing experience preferred
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
\n
• Epic charting system experience required
\n
• Experience with chemotherapy administration, port management, IV therapy, and oncology patient care
\n
• Charge nurse experience preferred
\n
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
\n
