American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hematology/Oncology unit position requiring ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Requirements\n

  • Active OK RN license or current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license required
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • \n
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
  • \n
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • \n
  • ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required
  • \n
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
  • \n
  • Step-down experience required
  • \n
  • Full Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Administers medications, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy as prescribed, and initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products
  • \n
  • Monitors and documents patient physiological data, nursing interventions, and responses to treatment
  • \n
  • Collaborates with physicians during patient exams and minor diagnostic procedures
  • \n
  • Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families, and delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • \n
  • Previous workers at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 weeks of total assignment time before being eligible for a new contract
  • \n
  • Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be completed promptly after acceptance — compliance deadlines are strictly enforced
