📍 Cambridge, MA | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🏥 RN Lactation Consultant (IBCLC/CLC)
\n Seeking an experienced RN Lactation Consultant for a Postpartum unit assignment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on lactation support experience and be passionate about providing education and guidance to postpartum mothers and newborns.
\n Schedule:
\n • 13 Week Assignment
\n • 32 Hours Guaranteed
\n • 8-Hour Day Shifts
\n • Every Other Weekend Required
\n • Every Other Holiday Required
\n Requirements:
\n • Active Massachusetts RN License
\n • Current AHA BLS Certification
\n • Current NRP Certification
\n • Active IBCLC or CLC Certification Required
\n • 1–2 Years RN Experience
\n • 1–2 Years Lactation Consultant Experience
\n • Prior Travel Experience Preferred
\n • EPIC Experience Preferred
\n Responsibilities:
\n • Provide lactation assessments and breastfeeding support to postpartum patients
\n • Educate mothers and families on breastfeeding techniques and newborn feeding practices
\n • Develop individualized feeding plans and monitor infant feeding progress
\n • Collaborate with postpartum nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
\n • Document patient care and education accurately in the EMR
\n • Promote evidence-based lactation practices and maternal-child health outcomes
