Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT registration, AZ licensure, and 2+ years of experience.

Details\n

\n
• Work primarily in the Emergency Department, with potential to float as needed
\n
• Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic CT services under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols
\n
• Facility has 3 scanners: Philips 128 Ingenuity (ER scanner, primary for nights), Philips Brilliance 64, and Philips Big Bore 16
\n
• Schedule is SUN-WED 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 4x10 hour shifts
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT
\n
• 2+ years of CT Technologist experience required
\n
• AZ state license required for general radiography (license required if applicable)
\n
• CT License and BLS required
\n
• Must be able to start IVs
\n
• Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
\n
• Experience with biopsy/drainage procedures, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media, and cross sectional anatomy
\n
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
\n
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide timely diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations
\n
• Responsible for CT system processing and maintaining knowledge of cross sectional anatomy
\n
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
\n
• Travelers who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
\n
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
\n
