Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) certification for an evening shift travel contract at an academic outpatient imaging center in South Jordan, UT.

Details\n

\n
• Outpatient imaging center affiliated with an academic health system
\n
• MRI department serving adult patients
\n
• Body imaging including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, breast, and spine
\n
• Musculoskeletal imaging including hip/bony pelvis, knee, and shoulder
\n
• Cardiac MRI with and without contrast, including stress protocols
\n
• Special imaging procedures include diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, spin echo, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing
\n
• Evening shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM
\n
• Variable weekend coverage required, with shifts covering Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
\n
• ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
\n
• Utah state license required; pending license may be accepted but must be in hand prior to start date — license required if applicable
\n
• First-time travelers will be considered
\n
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Perform MRI exams across a broad range of body systems including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac
\n
• Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba MRI equipment is preferred
\n
• Orientation includes completion of online modules, typically averaging 2 hours, on the first day
\n
• Local candidates (those residing within the state of Utah) are not accepted for this position
\n
• Former full-time employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances
