Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Perform accurate CT and x-ray procedures according to protocol, producing high-quality images for patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. \n
- Ensure proper patient positioning, equipment setup, and monitor patient condition throughout procedures. \n
- Adjust positioning, slice thickness, and administer intravenous contrast as ordered by physicians. \n
- Explain procedures, gather patient information, and verify medical histories and contrast information. \n
- Perform contrast injections and report any critical findings to healthcare personnel. \n
- Assist physicians with invasive procedures as needed. \n
- Accurately record exam details, resource usage, and procedural codes in the HIS and RIS systems. \n
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies to ensure safety for patients, staff, and physicians. \n
- Coordinate with the department manager on performance improvement initiatives. \n
- Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge and skills. \n
