**Exciting Opportunity for Electroencephalogram Technician!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a difference in the world of healthcare? Join our team and thrive in an engaging work environment! - Work Schedule: 4 Days - 10 Hours (7AM - 5:30PM) - Start: ASAP - No weekend or on-call requirements! **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on adults and pediatric patients. - Coordinate activities with various hospital departments, including scheduling exams and ensuring accurate billing information. - Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing M-modes and delivering pertinent information for accurate diagnoses. - Respond to patients' needs, ensuring their comfort and reporting any changes in condition to medical staff. - Maintain a clean and organized echo room, ordering supplies as needed. - Log patient records and participate in performance improvement activities at all levels. - Maintain quality control of equipment and coordinate necessary repairs. - Stay current on advancements in Echocardiography and seek ongoing mentorship from cardiologists. - Assist with other cardiac procedures as required. **Requirements:** - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; two-year allied health education program preferred. - Certification/Licenses: - A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. - State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. - BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. - Skills: - Effective communication skills. - Strong organizational and collaborative abilities. - Capacity to work in fast-paced, stressful environments. - Manual dexterity for conducting echocardiograms. - Experience: Two years of echocardiogram experience preferred. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
