American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT (M) certification and hands-on experience with Siemens and Hologic equipment.

- Outpatient clinic setting with a high-volume mammography focus \n
- Primary focus is screening mammography, with a minimum of 20 screening mammograms performed per day \n
- Diagnostic mammography exams may also be performed as the schedule allows \n
- Daily caseload of 55 patients \n
- 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends required \n
- No on-call required \n
- Floating to sister facilities throughout the Charleston area is required as needed \n
- Charting via Epic \n

- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required \n
- Active ARRT (M), BLS (AHA), and SCRQSA (M) certifications required \n
- SC state license required and must be in hand prior to start — license required if applicable \n
- Proficiency with Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension (3D) equipment is a hard requirement \n
- Experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms \n
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis \n
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler \n
- All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; RTO submitted after the initial request will not be accepted \n
- Unit orientation takes place on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM \n
- Pre-start online modules are required and must be completed before the assignment begins \n
- Scrub colors required: any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom \n
- All travelers and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and October \n
