American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring 1+ years of experience and proficiency with Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment.

- Outpatient clinic setting focused on Mammography \n
- Daily caseload of approximately 55 patients, including a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day \n
- Diagnostic mammography exams performed as schedule allows \n
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM \n
- No weekend requirement \n
- No on-call requirement \n
- May float to sister facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed \n
- Uses Epic charting system \n

- Minimum of 1 year of experience required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- ARRT (M) certification required \n
- SCRQSA (M) certification required \n
- South Carolina state license required in hand prior to start (pending license not accepted) \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Must know how to operate Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment \n
- Experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms required \n
- Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety required \n

- First-time travelers accepted \n
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler \n
- Candidates must live within 60 miles of the facility to be considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized \n
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis \n
- All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration for the assignment \n
- Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks \n
- Facility does not allow call-outs \n
- Scrub color requirement: any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom \n
- Unit orientation takes place on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM \n
- Fast-paced work environment requiring autonomy, strong teamwork, communication, and flexibility \n
- Technologists may be asked to adjust shift hours to avoid overtime \n
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed \n
- All staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November) \n
