Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 5+ years experience for a day shift travel assignment with on-call requirements.

  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit serving all patient ages
  • \n
  • 167-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center designation
  • \n
  • Common procedures include cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implants, permacath and port placements, and vascular leg cases
  • \n
  • Uses GE equipment for cath lab procedures
  • \n
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on a 7 on/7 off rotation
  • \n
  • On-call requirements are as needed with weekend hours as needed if called back
  • \n
  • No floating required
  • \n
  • 13-week assignment length
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist required
  • \n
  • BLS certification required
  • \n
  • RT certification or RCIS certificate required
  • \n
  • License required if applicable
  • \n
  • Must be able to scrub and monitor cases
  • \n
  • Experience assisting with patient transport, workup, and recovery preferred
  • \n
  • Strong teamwork skills and an outgoing personality are valued
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Responsibilities may include monitoring cases, transporting patients, assisting with workup and recovery, and stocking department supplies
  • \n
  • Facility provides scrubs; casual wear and other facility-branded clothing are not permitted
  • \n
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
  • \n
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • \n
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
  • \n
  • Weekly orientation held on Mondays
  • \n
