Job Summary
\nCVS Health is hiring Float Registered Nurses (RN) to support its Vaccination Support Initiative. This position involves administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations while providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care across assigned CVS retail pharmacy locations. PPE is provided.
\nMinimum Requirements
\n- \n
- Active, unrestricted RN License \n
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience \n
- Current BLS Certification \n
- Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List \n
- High School Diploma/GED (verification required) \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines. \n
- Assess patients and determine vaccination eligibility. \n
- Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care. \n
- Maintain accurate vaccination documentation and patient records. \n
- Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination protocols. \n
- Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention practices. \n
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a retail pharmacy environment. \n
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. \n
- Float between assigned CVS locations as needed. \n
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling and work assignments. \n
