Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - INCREASED PAY RATE - Long Term Care (LTC) - PRN

Heritage Hall is currently seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse at our Lexington, VA facility!
 
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for participating in the direct care of residents as well as supervising all non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department at our 60 bed facility.  They administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.  The LPN ensures that the CNA’s are properly administering services and that there is adequate CNA coverage on each shift. 

Position Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Must have active LPN  licensure in the state of Virginia
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
• Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
