Senior Family Law Attorney (Hybrid) – Austin, TX
A growing and highly respected Texas-based family law practice is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its Austin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney who enjoys litigation, courtroom advocacy, mentoring junior attorneys, and helping clients navigate complex family law matters.
The firm offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment where attorneys are empowered to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility through a hybrid work schedule. This role works closely with firm leadership and plays an integral part in case strategy, client representation, and the professional development of associate attorneys.
What You'll Do
Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and related litigation.
Serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and trials.
Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and client advocacy.
Mentor and support associate attorneys and legal staff.
Manage cases from intake through resolution while ensuring exceptional client service.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other case-related documents.
Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the legal process.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
Minimum of 4 years of Texas family law experience.
Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience.
Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience mentoring attorneys or legal staff is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $110,000–$130,000, depending on experience.
