Dealership Lot Porter - Full-time

Rich Ford is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Lot Porter to join our team in Albuquerque, NM.

The Automotive Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the dealership lot and service drive, assisting customers, moving vehicles safely, and supporting daily dealership operations.

This role plays an important part in creating an exceptional customer experience by ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for customer delivery.

• Provide a high level of customer service to all dealership guests
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership lot and service drive
  
• Move and park customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently
  
• Keep service lanes clear and organized throughout the day
  
• Place protective paper and plastic in vehicles as required
  
• Clean and sanitize vehicle touch points including steering wheels, door handles, and gear shifters before and after service
  
• Retrieve vehicles for customers and ensure proper vehicle identification before delivery
  
• Accurately tag and organize vehicle keys
  
• Greet customers on the service drive promptly and direct them to the appropriate team member
  
• Maintain a clean environment by removing trash, debris, and hazards from service areas
  
• Clean fluid spills immediately and follow dealership safety procedures
  
• Maintain a clean and safe environment during weather events
  
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear approved dealership uniform
  
• Participate in required dealership training
  
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and local/state/federal regulations
  

• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred but not required
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
  
• Ability to safely operate and move vehicles
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
