CDL'A Company Driver - Dry Van, No'Touch

Old Drum Freight Systems is recruiting experienced CDL-A company drivers for a well established Dry Van carrier with strict safety standards and strong pay programs. All positions are company-driver 
Freight is dry van, 100% no-touch (no lumpers, no unloading) and about 85% drop-and-hook. Drivers are paid on Rand McNally Practical miles for all miles, loaded and empty, and are assigned a dispatcher. Around 40% of freight runs at night between 9pm and 5am, so you need to be comfortable flipping your clock and running both days and nights.
Pay bands vary by fleet, with competitive CPM on all miles, extra pay on complete loads under 400 miles, regular CSA and on-road safety bonuses, anniversary bonuses, referral pay ,and raises tied to safe paid miles. Equipment is primarily late-model Freightliner Cascadia's, traded on a regular cycle, with bunk heat, dual air-ride seats, and newer units adding automatic transmissions, inverters, fridge, microwave, TV, and SiriusXM. Trailers are 53' dry vans with Sky Bitz tracking and cargo sensors, aerodynamic blades, and spring suspension, so you’re not hunting for empties. All trucks have outward-facing cameras only and a strict cell-phone policy.
Orientation is a 4–4.5 day paid program at one of Carriers terminals. DOT physical, drug testing, and human performance evaluation are completed near your home ahead of class, and Carrier covers travel, hotel (private room), and meals.
Hazmat is not required, but drivers with a hazmat endorsement earn more per mile and more in bonuses on qualifying fleets.

Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 8 months recent tractor-trailer / OTR experience with documented winter and night driving (2 winter months Dec–Feb, multiple major city and night runs).
• Verifiable employment and OTR history with logs and company/W-2 records.
• Must meet Carriers safety standards: NO drug test refusal or failure, NO DWI or open container in a commercial vehicle, and tight limits on recent moving violations, serious violations, accidents, suspensions, terminations, and employment gaps.
• No more than 4 commercial driving jobs in the last 12 months. No minimum age if all other qualifications are met; 21-year-old drivers are review cases.
