Head Start Assistant Teacher

As a Head Start Assistant Teacher, you’ll help power an early-learning experience where every child feels seen, safe, and ready to soar. This role exists to strengthen classroom momentum, support teaching plans, and help children build the social-emotional skills that set them up for lifelong success.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting lesson preparation and classroom activities alongside the lead teacher
- Encouraging healthy social and emotional growth by honoring individual differences and cultural patterns
- Engaging children through varied, age-appropriate interaction methods
- Assisting children with lesson assignments to reinforce a positive learning environment

Required qualifications:
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) with experience
