Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $26/hr

Location: Muskogee, OK

Schedule

• Must be available to work either:
• • 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or
  • 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Must be available to work any day of the week
• Overtime is required, with workweeks reaching up to 70 hours
• Weekend work and call-outs may be required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility in Muskogee. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment
• Install, assemble, align, and level machinery using precision measuring tools
• Replace worn or defective mechanical components
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Install and relocate equipment using hoists, cranes, rollers, dollies, and rigging equipment
• Perform mechanical alignments and adjust machine tolerances
• Dismantle and rebuild industrial equipment
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment safely
• Assist with rigging and equipment installation projects
• Machine or modify components using shop equipment when necessary
• Work safely while following all company and OSHA safety procedures
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience
• Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance background required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical/work screen
• Must be dependable with a strong safety mindset
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and call-outs when needed
