Light Duty Commercial Truck Route Driver/Operator

Driver/Operator needed for our mobile compaction business that is revolutionizing the industry. No CDL or special license is required for this vehicle. Although a CDL is not required to operate our equipment, we prefer 5 years of driving experience with commercial trucks (CDL experience preferred). The ideal candidate should have a background in driving light-duty trucks and some mechanical/maintenance knowledge; nothing more than the basics needed. The candidate will also be someone who enjoys working in a small team, enjoys building a culture and a business from the ground up, has the discipline to execute the requirements of the job, and has excellent customer service skills. The Driver/Operator will mainly work in Waco and the surrounding area, with occasional trips to Austin. Driver/Operator will be able to go home every day, so no long haul or overnight travel required. Driver/Operator must be willing to work a minimum of 1 weekend per month. Training will be provided.

Compensation:

$46,000 to $50,000 per year with the opportunity to achieve additional bonuses (bonuses based on your performance and the company's performance). Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 23,000-pound truck
• Drive the truck to customer sites within our exclusive territory in Waco, TX and surrounding areas
• Skillfully and safely operate a hydraulic machine
• Properly track and document activity logs through a handheld device
• Inspect the truck before and after your daily routes
• Contribute to the maintenance and cleaning of trucks and machine
• Interact with a friendly and entrepreneurial spirit with our customers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience. No CDL is required.
• An enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly individual who thrives on interacting with people
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the truck location every day
• Must have a strong work ethic, be reliable, be on time, and be professional
• Must be able to pass a background check, DOT drug screening, and a physical
• Valid driver’s license with clean records
• Moderate physical workload including lifting, standing, & climbing a 4-foot ladder approximately 20 times per day (including in poor weather)
