Responsibilities
- Safely transport 20’, 40’, 45’, and 53’ dry and reefer ocean containers from the ports to local warehouses, rail ramps, and customer locations.
- Manage terminal ingates and outgates effectively.
- Maintain electronic logging device (ELD) compliance and adhere to all DOT safety regulations.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding container status and potential delays.
Job Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Credentials: Active TWIC Card required for port entry.
- Equipment: A safe, compliant, and well-maintained tractor capable of port operations (Clean Truck program compliant).
- Experience: Prior port drayage or intermodal experience is highly preferred.
- Safety: Clean driving record with a strong focus on safe drayage solutions.
- Language: Ability to communicate effectively (English or Spanish speaking welcomed).
