What You’ll Do
- Perform acute hemodialysis treatments for hospitalized patients, including ICU and medical-surgical populations
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after treatments
- Monitor treatment response, vascular access, and patient stability
- Collaborate with nephrologists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document all treatments and patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection prevention standards and dialysis best practices
- Foster a compassionate, patient-centered care environment
What You Need
- Current RN license in Tennessee or a Compact State
- At least 2 years of recent acute dialysis experience
- ICU dialysis experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with dialysis vascular access and Tablo Hemodialysis System
- Ability to work independently and exercise critical thinking
- Strong communication and assessment skills
Preferred: Experience in acute care beyond dialysis
