CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Location:Jacksonville, FL
Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay:$22.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable CNC Machinist to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Make machine offsets and minor adjustments as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and complete required documentation.
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Work with the team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting.
