CNC Machinist - Precision Manufacturing (Day & 3rd Shift)

CNC Machinist

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $30.50/hr (based on experience and shift) Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists to operate and set up CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining, machine setups, blueprint reading, and quality inspection. Candidates with CNC lathe or CNC mill experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC mills.
• Perform production machining and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to produce quality parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools.
• Verify part dimensions and ensure quality requirements are met.
• Complete setups, tooling changes, and basic CNC adjustments.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machines in a production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Experience with CNC setups is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience:

• CNC lathe or CNC mill setup experience.
• Experience with tight-tolerance machining.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
• Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, or titanium.
• Experience performing first article or in-process inspections.

Additional Details:

• Precision machining environment with low-volume, high-mix production.
• Multiple machine operation may be required.
• Ability to lift parts/materials up to 30+ lbs.
