Johnson Service Group (JSG) is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Twinsburg, OH! We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work and are ready to jump into a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• ⏰ Shifts Available:
• • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Key Accountabilities

As a CNC Machinist, you will be performing a wide range of machining operations within tight tolerances. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Setup & Tooling: Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets, perform machine setups, and machine/install or re-cut chuck jaws as required.
• Operation & Programming: Operate different types of CNC equipment, download/upload programs into the machine, and make minor programming adjustments as needed.
• Technical Interpretation: Work smoothly from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, cards, machine status boards, and verbal or written instructions.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect your own work for correct dimensions to maintain quality and quantity standards, complete required documentation, and inspect the work of other machinists.
• Data & Logistics: Enter necessary data into the ERP system, and safely load/unload component piece parts with weights.
• Flexibility: Stay adaptable—you may be required to operate multiple machines and rotate between departments.

What We Look For (Qualifications)

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience with knowledge of machining principles and methods for CNC machine tools.
• Machine Skills: Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating CNC lathe and/or CNC mill machines, with intermediate knowledge and experience setting them up.
• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Core Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, and the ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.
• Attendance: Must be highly reliable with minimal call-offs during the year—we value and expect excellent attendance.
