The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in troubleshooting, stamping operations, and a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems.
Tool and Die Technician Job Summary:
- $30.00 /hourly +
- 2nd and 3rd Shift Available
- Full Time/Direct Hire

- Relocation Assistance
- Maintain and repair tooling and dies used in automotive stamping operations.
- Building or repairing all types, sizes and shapes of tools, dies, fixtures and jigs.
- Assemble and try out complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment as required for production
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with stamping equipment and processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on dies and stamping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
Tool and Die Technician Job Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or General Education (GED)
- Completion of formal apprenticeship program with journeyman card or equivalent to 5+ years’ experience
- Experience with stamping equipment and processes in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Why
- Experience with tear down, repairs, and reassembling tooling.
