Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role performs industrial maintenance in a chemical cleaning manufacturing plant, ensuring reliable operation of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Technician hands-on with motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, and PLCs while guiding two other team members to maintain safe, efficient, and continuous production.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial maintenance on plant equipment, including motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, AC/DC motors, and related systems.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues within the facility to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment, following established schedules and procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to plan and execute maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on three-phase systems and control circuits to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Carry out mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors, motors, and related mechanical assemblies.
- Use welding techniques, including MIG and TIG, to repair or fabricate components as needed for equipment maintenance.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Hands-on experience working with motorized conveyors and material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and three-phase motors.
- Experience with AC and DC motors, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills for plant equipment and control systems.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills for conveyors, motors, and related equipment.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Capability to lead and support other maintenance team members in daily tasks.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
