Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will facilitate and maintain validation project documentation, provide statistical analysis support, and develop SOPs related to validation and risk management. You will monitor and prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for major customers and conduct quality and engineering studies to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Facilitate and maintain validation project documentation.
- Provide statistical analysis support for manufacturing, new product development, trials, and validation activities.
- Develop SOPs relating to validation and risk management.
- Monitor and prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for major customers.
- Conduct quality and engineering studies to support manufacturing operations.
- Facilitate Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) activities to identify and resolve root cause issues.
- Train associates on quality topics such as SPC and CAPA.
- Collaborate with customers on equipment and process validations.
- Serve as the database administrator for Infinity QS (Statistical Process Control) software.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience in validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Proficiency in quality engineering and process validation.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to develop and execute validation protocols for equipment, sanitation, facilities, software, and processes.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, particularly Infinity QS.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers on equipment and process validations.
- Experience in developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The work environment involves supporting manufacturing operations with a focus on quality and validation activities. You will be using various statistical and quality engineering tools and will engage in continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
