Job Description
This role supports cabinet production by assisting with assembly, material handling, and operating or loading machinery as needed throughout the shop. You contribute to a clean, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing process by working closely with the production team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the assembly of cabinets and related wood products according to production requirements.
- Load and unload parts into machines and automatic spray lines safely and efficiently.
- Perform hand sanding of wood products to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Support sprayers in the finishing booth by preparing materials and handling finished parts.
- Handle materials throughout the shop, including moving, organizing, and staging components for production.
- Carry out general production and assembly tasks as assigned to support daily operations.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
- Work collaboratively as a team player to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and correctly as part of daily tasks.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while standing for extended periods.
- Load and unload products and materials for shipping, storage, or further processing.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing (MFG) or general production experience.
- Experience with general labor tasks in a production or construction environment.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic carpentry skills and comfort working with wood products.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Capability to perform loading and unloading tasks, including material handling.
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support various shop needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Background as a general laborer in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Experience with cabinet assembly or woodworking is a plus.
- Familiarity with production workflows and shop operations.
- Comfort working around spray booths and finishing processes.
- Attention to detail and quality when sanding and assembling products.
- Reliability and consistent attendance to support production schedules.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
