This warehouse role requires candidates to be on their feet for the entire duration of 8+ hour shifts. Day-to-day responsibilities remain fairly consistent, involving the use of handheld devices such as RF Scan Guns to enter and code information required for work order part numbers. Candidates with at least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment will thrive in this position and understand the fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate RF Scan Guns to manage work order part numbers.
- Stand and work on feet for the entire shift.
- Push, pull, and lift items weighing at least 40 lbs.
- Work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Participate in shipping, receiving, sorting, and inventory control tasks.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or equivalent environment.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to pass a math and matching numbers test with a 70% or higher score.

Work Environment
The warehouse is located onsite at Spirit Aerosystems and requires wearing jeans and safety/composite toe shoes or boots. The environment is not climate-controlled, so adaptability is key. Hours vary and may include night shifts and overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
