Job Description

This contract position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, running from August 2026 through June 2027. Located near Salem, NH, this opportunity is ideal for dedicated Special Education professionals interested in working full-time, with weekly hours between 32.5 and 37.5. You will join a collaborative team focused on elementary caseloads, providing support and instruction tailored to students’ individual learning styles.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education (required)
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support for students in accordance with their IEPs
- Create inclusive, engaging learning environments tailored to diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education staff and specialists to promote student success
- Assess progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families and other stakeholders
- Adhere to school and district policies and maintain necessary documentation
