Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an Attorney/Lawyer to join a growing labor and employment defense practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with early-career experience who wants meaningful case responsibility, close collaboration with experienced colleagues, and exposure to a wide range of employer-side matters. The role offers the chance to build litigation depth while supporting clients through workplace disputes, claims, and day-to-day employment issues.

Responsibilities:
• Represent employer clients in labor and employment disputes, providing defense-focused legal support across a variety of matters.
• Prepare litigation materials such as complaints responses, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other case-related filings.
• Contribute to legal strategy by conducting research, evaluating facts, and developing practical recommendations for case progression.
• Oversee assigned matters from initial intake through resolution, maintaining organization, deadlines, and quality of work product.
• Take part in depositions, court appearances, mediations, hearings, and similar proceedings as needed.
• Advise clients on workplace-related concerns and communicate clearly with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues throughout each matter.
• Balance multiple active files in a fast-moving practice while meeting a billable expectation of 1,900 hours annually.• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
• Prior employer-side or defense-based labor and employment experience is required.
• Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other legal documents with precision.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple matters efficiently.
• Effective interpersonal communication and a strong commitment to client service.
