Job Description
This role involves operating sit-down forklifts to receive, stock, and move products. You will handle materials safely and efficiently, ensure accurate labeling and placement of inventory, and support warehouse operations by using material handling equipment and handheld scanners.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to receive and stock products as they arrive at the facility.
- Stock interior, exterior, and millwork shops with the correct product in a timely manner.
- Unload semi-trailers safely and efficiently using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Verify incoming products against packing lists and ensure all items are accurately checked off.
- Label products correctly and clearly to maintain accurate inventory identification.
- Deliver products to the correct locations within the warehouse and shop areas.
- Check in products using a handheld scanner to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with ordering products as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Bale cardboard and manage recyclable materials as part of daily warehouse operations.
- Perform cycle counts to support accurate inventory control and stock management.
- Inspect and tag special orders to ensure they are clearly identified and properly handled.
- Assist other departments when needed to support overall facility operations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area, including general grounds cleanup.
Essential Skills
- Proven forklift experience, specifically with sit-down forklifts.
- Strong material handling skills, including safe loading, unloading, and movement of products.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and related material handling equipment.
- Capability to use handheld scanners for checking in products and managing inventory.
- Attention to detail when verifying products against packing lists and labeling items.
- Ability to follow directions and deliver products to the correct locations within the facility.
- Commitment to working safely in a warehouse and woodworking shop environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or woodworking shop environment
- Experience performing cycle counts and basic inventory control tasks.
- Ability to assist across multiple departments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and a focus on cleanliness and orderliness in the workplace.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Benson, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
