Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Dept position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of ER nursing experience for a 13-week night shift contract.

• Hospital-based position covering both Med/Surg and Emergency Department depending on departmental needs
\n
• Patient populations include adult med/surg, orthopedic med/surg, pediatric med/surg, and emergency room cases
\n
• Night shift schedule
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active CA RN license in good standing required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
\n
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
\n
• TNCC certification required within one year of hire
\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
\n
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
\n

Additional Information\n

• This is a flexible, cross-coverage role requiring the ability to work in both the Med/Surg and Emergency departments as needed
\n
• Caribbean Blue scrubs are required for all nursing staff
\n
• All temporary workers are required to complete an annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with a certificate of completion
