Job Requirements\n

\n
• Active Texas RN license or compact state RN license
\n
• BLS certification from AHA required
\n
• ACLS certification from AHA required
\n
• 1 year of critical care or ICU experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
\n
• Epic EHR experience preferred
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a critical care setting
\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients with complex and evolving needs
\n
• Perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
\n
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring effectiveness and side effects
\n
• Document patient status, symptoms, care provided, and response to treatment in the electronic health record
\n
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, and other healthcare professionals to manage changing clinical situations
\n
• Deliver high-quality critical care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intensive nursing support
\n
