Position Overview:
\n We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, manage pain, and regain independence through individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • \n
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition or treatment response.
  • \n
  • Document treatment sessions accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
  • \n
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • \n
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure therapy equipment is clean, organized, and functioning properly.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • \n
  • Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • \n
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice.
  • \n
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required based on facility).
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • \n
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

    \n
  • Previous experience in an outpatient, inpatient, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • \n
  • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric patient populations.
  • \n
