American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP & Level 1 Nursery position in Salida, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and a Colorado RN license.

- LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) and Level 1 Nursery unit setting \n
- Cares for labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate patients \n
- Night shift: 1800–0600 \n
- 24 hours per week \n
- Weekends and holidays required \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active CO RN license (CO state or Compact) required \n
- Current BLS and NRP required \n
- ACLS required \n
- PALS preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required \n
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required \n
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs \n
- Specific vision abilities required, including close, color, and peripheral vision \n
- \n
- Monitors and supports patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, including breastfeeding education and infant care teaching \n
- Collaborates with nursery nurse in the care of the mother/baby couplet and assists physicians with procedures \n
- Communicates patient condition verbally and in writing to physicians and nursing supervisors \n
- Documents all patient events and education in the medical record \n
- May assist staff with emergencies in other nursing units as needed \n
