American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring trauma and CAH ED experience with float responsibilities to the ER.

- Acute Care (Med/Surg) unit at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with required float to the Emergency Room (ER) \n
- Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week \n
- Float to the ER required every 3rd weekend \n
- Charting system: Allscripts \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active NE or Compact RN license required \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC \n
- Trauma experience and prior CAH Emergency Department experience required \n
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips required \n
- Charge nurse experience highly preferred \n
- BSN not required \n

- This is a small Critical Access Hospital where nurses are expected to be versatile and work across both Acute Care and the ER \n
- Strong multitasking skills, flexibility, a positive attitude, and effective communication with providers are essential for success in this role \n
- Scrubs of any color or design are acceptable \n
- No orientation hours are provided for this position \n
