American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and strong pediatric MRI experience for a hospital-based role scanning adult and pediatric patients.

- Inpatient and outpatient MRI scanning for adults and pediatric patients of all ages, including neonates, stroke, and trauma cases \n
- Role is almost exclusively pediatric scanning, with priority given to remote overnight scans at smaller campus sites \n
- Utilizes Siemens virtual cockpit technology to remotely scan patients at satellite campuses in addition to the home site \n
- No floating between physical campus locations required, as remote sites are accessed via the virtual cockpit from the home site \n
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens MRI systems, 1.5T and 3T magnets, and PACS \n
- Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM \n
- No on-call requirements \n

- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required \n
- ARRT (MR) certification required; ARMRIT certification will not be considered \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Must be trained on the Siemens virtual cockpit steering client for remote site scanning \n
- Strong pediatric MRI scanning experience required \n
- Previous Children's Hospital experience preferred \n
- Experience with GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T equipment required \n
- Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal MRI imaging \n
- Experience with special imaging procedures such as CINE, diffusion, MIP, MRP, and spin/gradient echo imaging preferred \n
- Proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs \n
- 1+ years of recent EPIC EMR experience required \n
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred \n
- License required if applicable \n

- Home scan site serves as the base for the virtual cockpit equipment, with remote scanning support extended to smaller satellite campuses \n
- Overnight scans at remote campuses take priority, with home site patients scanned when no remote cases are pending \n
- May be required to float to other units or campuses per facility census needs, limited to areas of demonstrated competency \n
- First-time travelers will be considered only if no other qualified candidates are available \n
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays \n
- Pre-assignment testing and required modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials \n
