Join a high-volume imaging department providing inpatient and outpatient MRI services for oncology, stroke, and trauma patients. This night shift position offers a consistent block schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
\nPosition Highlights:
\n- \n
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Imaging \n
- Shift: Thursday–Monday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM (Night Shift) \n
- Hours: 40 hours/week \n
- Weekend Coverage: Required \n
- Caseload: Approximately 35–40 MRI exams per day \n
- Orientation: 40 hours \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience \n
- ARRT (R) certification required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- Ohio state license required (facility may consider candidates without an active Ohio license at submission) \n
- Previous travel experience required \n
- Level I Trauma experience preferred \n
Clinical Skills:
\n- \n
- MRI imaging of neurological, abdominal, and musculoskeletal anatomy \n
- Advanced MRI techniques including diffusion/ADC mapping, perfusion, spectroscopy, gradient echo, MIP/MPR, spin-echo, and T1/T2 protocols \n
- Peripheral MRA, image post-processing, and non-brain image fusion \n
- Contrast administration and peripheral IV starts \n
- Experience scanning patients with implanted devices \n
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems \n
Patient Population:
\n Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing routine and advanced MRI studies for oncology, stroke evaluation, trauma, and other diagnostic needs. (Cardiac MRI is not performed.)
Excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI technologist who thrives in a busy overnight imaging department and is comfortable performing advanced MRI procedures independently.
