**Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** **Qualifications:** - Education: Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program - Experience: Working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting - Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current Physical Therapist state license; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: - Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills - Strong team player mentality - Ability to provide appropriate care based on patient age and needs **Position Summary:** - Plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients regain physical function after accidents or surgeries - Manage and reduce pain for patients with degenerative conditions or terminal diseases - Utilize a wide range of therapies, including physical activity, reflexology, massage, and manipulation **Responsibilities:** - Consult with patients to understand their physical conditions and review medical histories - Diagnose movement dysfunction through observation and listening - Develop individualized treatment plans - Coach patients on therapeutic exercises and stretches - Provide hands-on therapy to alleviate pain and stimulate healing - Maintain detailed records of patient conditions and progress - Communicate patient progress to family members, providers, and the care team - Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities as needed **Professional Communication:** - Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and work environment - Interact sensitively with diverse patients and families - Convey information to reduce anxiety and promote acceptance - Foster professional relationships within the healthcare team **Teamwork:** - Accept assignments based on priorities and competencies - Collaborate closely with other care providers - Report patient conditions to relevant personnel - Engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution - Adhere to scheduled work hours and punctuality **Professional Development:** - Attend in-services and continuing education opportunities - Contribute to peer performance reviews as requested - Proactively respond to opportunities for improving care and service **Shift Information:** - 8 or 9 hours per day, 4 days per week - Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
