Job Description:
\nPosition: RN – Home Health
\nLocation: Durham, NC
\nCoverage: Wake, Orange, and Durham County (North Carolina)
\nDuration: 15-Week Contract
\nLocal Pay: $50.00 - $55.00/hour (W-2) Plus Mileage reimbursement
\nTravel Pay Package: Up to $2,450/week gross (includes weekly non-taxable stipend)* Plus Mileage reimbursement
\nSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
\n\n
Weekly Hour Guarantee: 40
\nOn Call/Weekend Requirement: On call as needed
\n\n
Job Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home setting, performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress in accordance with physician orders. \n
- Administer and manage specialized clinical treatments, including IV therapy, PEG tube care, midline catheter care and flushing, venipuncture for laboratory draws, urinary catheter changes, tracheostomy care, and ostomy care. \n
- Deliver advanced wound management, including wound assessments, dressing changes, compression wrap application, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (Wound VAC) management to promote optimal healing. \n
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, infection prevention, medical equipment uses, and self-care techniques to improve health outcomes and promote independence. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and ensure compliance with agency policies, Medicare guidelines, and professional nursing standards. \n
