Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a day shift assignment supporting adult and geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Inpatient and outpatient work settings
\n
• Adult and geriatric patient population
\n
• 1:1 patient ratios
\n
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
\n
• Uses Pyxis medication system
\n
• Uses Hologic 3D equipment
\n
• Cerner charting system required; Epic experience preferred
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n
• 16 hours of orientation required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
\n
• ARRT (M), ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• Compact license accepted at time of submission, but state license required prior to start for acute specialties
\n
• Previous charge experience preferred
\n
• Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
\n
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel position
\n
• References required, though pending references may be accepted at time of submission
\n
