Maintenance Director

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee the daily operations of our Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring that the facility, equipment, and building systems are properly maintained, safe, and fully compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role is essential in providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise, coordinate, and lead the daily activities of the Maintenance Department. 

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment. 

• Perform and oversee general maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other building systems. 

• Conduct routine inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs. 

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. 

• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs. 

• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. 

Compensation

• $55000-$60000 per year and is based on experience

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, long-term care, or similar facility  

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance procedures, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs. 

• Working knowledge of applicable safety regulations, fire codes, and federal, state, and local building codes.
