Overview
Physical Therapist – General, Lamar, Colorado, United States. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,805–$2,931 per week. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (5x8). Travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient/outpatient care setting.

- Setting: inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services in a healthcare facility serving a range of patient populations

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for physical therapy, using assessments aligned with requested therapies.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training and functional activities; adapt treatment to pediatric, adolescent and geriatric populations as needed.
- Reassess patient progress per policy and adjust the Plan of Care to strive for prior function or maximum medical improvement.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily notes, progress reports and special reports; supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and provide staff, volunteer and student instruction as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Department Manager, physicians and other care team members to coordinate care and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to support ongoing recovery and functional independence.

Requirements
- Current Colorado licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Earned degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Experience providing care across pediatric, adolescent and geriatric populations as indicated in the Plan of Care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Physical ability to perform required duties, including lifting/moving patients up to 20 pounds
