Maintenance Director

We are looking to have a Maintenance Director to join our team in our Independent Living Building, Myers Apartments on the King David Campus. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include Community operations oversight, Department Supervision, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED

• Three to four years of maintenance experience (preferably in Senior Living/Multi-Unit Housing/Healthcare)

• Two years of supervisory experience

• Valid and applicable state drivers’ license and no major driving violations for the past three years

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibilities will include Community operations oversight, Department Supervision, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents

• Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the community

• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise Maintenance and Housekeeping department staff in accordance with company.

• Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping services and activities with other departments

• Flexibility to remain on-call 24 hours per day, including evenings and weekends to respond to emergencies if needed
