About the Opportunity

Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client — a regional health center in Salina, Kansas seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in an acute care setting. This is a full-time opportunity working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, delivering nutrition education to patients, families, and hospital staff across all age groups.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) — required
  • Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics for candidates completing coursework after January 1, 2024 — highly preferred
  • Completion of a CDR-accredited dietetics internship with approval to sit for the registration exam — required
  • Registration-eligible or registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics — preferred
  • Current Dietitian licensure with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services — required
Scope of Work
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in the acute care setting
  • Deliver nutrition education to patients and families
  • Provide nutrition-related education and consultation to hospital staff
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
