Pool Technicians

Job Title: POOL TECHNICIAN (SEASONAL / TEMP-TO-HIRE or DIRECT HIRE)

Location: Downingtown, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (through November)
Pay Rate: $18–$22/hr DOE

This is a seasonal full-time opportunity supporting residential and commercial pool service operations in the Chester and Montgomery County areas. Both entry-level candidates (willing to train) and experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.

This is a field-based role where technicians will report to the shop each morning, then drive a company vehicle to assigned job sites.

Position Overview

Pool Technicians are responsible for completing on-site pool service and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial customers. Work includes pool openings and closings, routine maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pool systems and components.

Essential Responsibilities

·       Perform scheduled daily pool service work at assigned job sites

·       Complete pool openings, closings, cleaning, and routine maintenance

·       Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment and system components

·       Install and service pool-related equipment as needed

·       Ensure company vehicle is properly stocked and maintained daily

·       Review daily schedules with Service Manager

·       Accurately complete service tickets and required documentation

·       Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all job sites

Qualifications

·       Valid Driver’s License (required)

·       Ability to drive company vehicle to job sites throughout Chester and Montgomery Counties

·       Strong work ethic and reliability

·       Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions

·       Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours during peak season

Preferred Experience

·       Previous experience in pool and spa maintenance or similar field service work

·       Basic knowledge of pool equipment operation and troubleshooting

·       Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose basic system issues

·       Experience with tools, repairs, or general maintenance work

Training Provided (Entry-Level Candidates Welcome)

Entry-level technicians will receive hands-on training and supervision from experienced staff. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong customer service mindset are highly valued.
