Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. Come join our team as we provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. Our clinic includes psychology, ABA, OT, and Speech services. The Position: 

• Perform all planned and approved procedures under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist (MOTR/L)
• Perform small group and individual therapy based on client needs
• Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills
• Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting within clinic, home and community environments 
• Maintain client records and treatment notes
  Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations
• Willing to travel to multiple clinic locations including Norman and Edmond with mileage reimbursement available. 

Qualifications: 

• Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• OK State Licensure as a COTA
• Experience with pediatric populations is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
• Must have great problem-solving skills
• Willing to collaborate amongst an interdisciplinary team 
• Available for full time hours up to 40 hours per week. 
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems)
• Passionate about helping children and their families
