Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our project team in Baltimore, MD. Principal tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis and documentation, documenting processes, working closely with Federal employees and project teams, and performing user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, the business analyst should be intuitively analytical and comfortable explaining complex concepts to non-technical users. 

*This is a permanent role expected to be onsite 5 days a week.


Primary Responsibilities:


·        Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.  
·        Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.  
·        Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.  
·        Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.  
·        Performing requirements analysis.  
·        Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.  
·        Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.  
·        Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.  
·        Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.  
·        Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.  
·        Performing user acceptance testing.  
 
Minimum Qualifications:


·        Ability to obtain and maintain an Public Trust clearance is required.
·        Strong team player.  
·        Advanced documentation skills for creating BRDs and other project documentation.  
·        Proven ability to create business use cases, test cases, and flow diagrams.  
·        Excellent communication skills. 
·        Ability to present to project teams and Federal employees. 
·        Knowledge of developing SQL queries. 
 
Desired Qualifications:


·        Experience with Confluence, Jira, ALM, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, Agility, Tableau. 
·        Ability to lead Agile teams and conduct Agile ceremonies. 
·        Knowledge of Risk Management.
