About the Role: 
Salon IAOMO LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the beauty industry, learn from talented stylists, and grow your passion for hair and beauty in a dynamic salon environment. 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Assist stylists and colorists with client services including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying
• Greet and check in clients, ensuring a welcoming and positive salon experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon floor, styling stations, and back bar
• Mix and apply color formulas under the supervision of licensed stylists
• Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations as needed
• Restock and inventory salon products and supplies
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth salon operations

Requirements:
 

• Prior salon, beauty, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• Passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Cosmetology school enrollment or licensure is a bonus
