Critical Care Physician

Seeking a Board Certified Critical Care Physician to provide inpatient ICU coverage at two hospital locations. Responsibilities include ICU rounding, admissions, occasional pulmonary consults, and supervision of Family Medicine residents as needed.

Compensation: Hourly: $280/hr, Holiday: $420/hr, Overtime: $420/hr,

Holiday Overtime: $420/hr

Schedule

Ongoing coverage as needed

Required coverage blocks:

September 7–13, 2026: Night shifts

October 8–18, 2026: Night shifts

Candidates must be available for both coverage blocks

Practice Setting

Inpatient Intensive Care Unit

Adult patient population

Level II Trauma Center

Responsibilities

ICU rounding and admissions

Occasional pulmonary consultations

Manage critically ill adult patients

Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers

Occasionally supervise Family Medicine residents

Practice Details

Approximately 25 patients on the ICU service

Average of 5 admissions per night

APP support available

Adult trauma population

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified in Critical Care

Fellowship-trained in Critical Care

Active Idaho license or active IMLC with LOQ

ACLS certification

DEA and CSR

Comfortable performing all required critical care procedures

Must be available for both September and October coverage blocks

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required

Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days

Additional Information

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days

Travel reimbursement available per facility guidelines.
